We had a wonderful time on Lana’i and also on the Big Island when we left you. Christine, Thank you so much for helping us locate the house with Momi; it suited our needs very well. Chuck very much enjoyed hunting with Alec and appreciated the skills and knowledge. Gary made sure that everything went smoothly. We appreciated his keen attention to the preparation of the hide, as well as his role as “tour guide” of your island. I loved my time volunteering at school and island hikes.

I recently enjoyed a unique hunting trip on the island of Lana’i Hawaii. Spending time in Hawaii on a family holiday is a treat, but add world-class big game hunting and wingshooting to the mix, and the trip becomes truly memorable.
The wife and children spent time exploring the many opportunities THE LODGE AT KOELE and the MANELE BAY HOTEL had to offer. Golf, beach activities, sporting clays, horseback riding, deep sea fishing, spa and massage, were more than enough to keep the family happy from dawn until dark. The accommodations were truly plush, and the dining was first-rate. There are activities available for all ages, and each member of my family had an outstanding time. But I had come to Lana’i to work.
Producing an outdoor television program is a wonderful way to make a living, but oftentimes, it is problematic. Not on Lana’i. The hunting operations are first rate. We had a tremendous bird hunt between the big game hunting sessions. The animals are wild, plentiful, and offer a challenge for the most seasoned of hunters. We took a nice Axis buck and a record-book Mouflon ram, and made some very nice television programs in the process.
Seldom do you find a vacation destination that can make everyone happy. As far as my family is concerned, we found it on Lana’i.

We had a wonderful time on Lana’i this last week. Everyone was so friendly. Gary and Alec were simply fabulous – exceptionally helpful. The trip exceeded our expectations. I collected a 38.5# mahi mahi, 28” axis buck, a glass fishing ball and a big cowrie shell.
Alec and I could not find the right ram but Mary and I are definitely planning to return. Maybe next time we will find the ram.

Stan and Mary Neff
